Program Quality Lead onsite McKinney, TX

Job Title: Radar On-site Program Quality Lead (PQL) – Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS)

Location: McKinney, TX (USA)

Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required for a DoD Secret clearance. Clearance must be active and maintained after day one.

Relocation and remote work are not offered for this position.

• Drive a robust quality culture, practices, and collaboration efforts across the product Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Leadership Team.
• Act as the primary quality interface, ensuring the program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements throughout all development phases, from design to production and sustainment.
• Advocate for the customer's needs internally and enforce process rigor in conjunction with integrated teams.
• Monitor quality metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with teams on Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Formal Incident Analysis (FRACAS).
• Support the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP/AS9145) and play key roles in Material Review Board (MRB), Change Control Board (CCB), and Risk Review Board (RRB).
• Conduct reviews and assessments of program performance, including technical assessments of systems, lessons learned, and programmatic (cost, schedule, risk, defects) practices.
• Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) processes are defined, implemented, and consistently followed.

• A university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
• Proven background in Program/Project Quality Management, Quality Planning, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 QMS.
• Experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action.
• Technical program support experience for manufacturing and/or design processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret).
• U.S. citizenship required.

• STEM degree.
• Strong self‑starter with ownership mindset and ability to drive success with minimal direction.
• Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ certifications.
• Experience reviewing Statements of Work (SOW), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and interfacing directly with customers.
• Experience presenting, reviewing, or approving changes through a formal Change Control Board (CCB).
• Sound judgment and decision‑making skills; supervisory intervention when needed.
• Risk mitigation and opportunity management experience.
• Ability to translate system and contractual requirements to ensure compliance across product, assembly, and test documentation.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspections per AS9102.
• Performance measurement using cost, schedule, and technical performance, including Earned Value methodology.
