Remote Electrical Engineering Professor

Position Summary

Safran Cabin Materials, LLC located in Marysville, WA is recruiting a Quality Inspector 1 for the first shift. The role involves inspecting, auditing, and reporting on materials, processes, and products used in aircraft interior construction, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality specifications.

• Perform first‑article and final assembly inspections of machined and/or sheet metal parts and assemblies.
• Conduct receiving inspections of purchase orders, materials, and components for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Utilize variable and attribute measuring instruments and techniques to assess material and product conformity.
• Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and communicate nonconformances to production and engineering teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and aid in the development of inspection processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in engineering mechanics or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in quality inspection within aerospace, manufacturing, or metalworking environments.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 or other quality management system standards.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments and interpreting inspection data.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced production environment.

Hourly Pay: $20.00

Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
