Senior Quality Engineer - Bethesda, MD (Remote)

Job Summary:

Seeking for a Senior Quality Engineer to support End-to-End (E2E) testing. Validate business-critical workflows across integrated systems, ensuring high-quality releases with minimal production risk. Collaborate with product, development, and business stakeholders to align on E2E test scope, dependencies, and release readiness.

Core Work Activities:

• Design and execute E2E testing strategies for complex enterprise applications, including web, API, native app, and integrated systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Drive risk-based testing by identifying high-impact scenarios and edge cases early in the lifecycle.
• Perform defect triage and root-cause analysis to ensure timely resolution with development teams.
• Contribute to test planning, estimation, and release readiness decisions.
• Review business initiatives and identify E2E test scope and dependencies.
• Create and maintain E2E test scenarios and execution plans.
• Coordinate E2E test execution across multiple application and domain teams.
• Manage test data requirements and environment readiness for E2E execution.
• Guide quality engineers and promote testing best practices.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test activities.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering and software testing of enterprise applications.
• Experience in software development and test engineering with expertise in multiple testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and integration testing.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective communication across teams.
