Electrical Product Certification Field Technician
Remote position! In this role you will work from home and travel to a list of customers each month to do inspections in the East Pennsylvania area. 30 - 40 hours of week of work. Flexibility to make your own schedule.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking skilled Electrical Field Inspectors to join our team. This role involves planning and conducting surveillance inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with certification documents. The position offers a flexible schedule, with the majority of the work conducted remotely, allowing you to create your own schedule when not traveling.
Responsibilities- Plan and conduct surveillance inspections according to scheduling requirements.
- Prepare for visits and document inspection requirements remotely.
- Review manufacturer's production and quality processes.
- Assess production tests, including methods, equipment, and calibration.
- Inspect listed products, sub-assemblies, and components for compliance.
- Review label inventory and control, and document unresolved issues.
- Select samples as directed and document compliance and non-compliance.
- Advise clients on resolving non-compliance issues.
- Complete and submit Follow-up Service Inspection Reports for each client.
- Facilitate communication between facility representatives and company personnel.
- Maintain expenses within given guidelines.
- 5-10 years experience in Electrical Test or Quality/Reliability Test Industry.
- Experience in electronic/electrical testing or quality/reliability testing.
- Knowledge of engineering, electrical inspection, manufacturing, or quality control.
- Familiarity with National Electric Code and product compliance requirements.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting and knowledge of Quality Control methods.
- Ability to travel as needed with a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in reading electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Access to the internet and strong computer skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electronics/Systems Technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology.
- Strong communication skills via email, phone, and in-person.
- Proficiency in smart technology (iPad, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Self-accountability for planning weekly schedules.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottsville, PA 17901.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
