Adag Group is seeking two experienced QA/QC Electrical Engineers to join our team and support the delivery of a major data center project in Ohio.
The QA/QC Electrical Engineer will provide electrical quality surveillance and inspection throughout project execution, from material receipt and installation through testing, energization, and final turnover.
The role will work closely with electrical construction teams, contractors, vendors, quality, and commissioning teams to ensure electrical systems are installed, tested, and documented in accordance with project requirements.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to multiple large-scale projects across North America and internationally. Our data center projects range from approximately 250 to 400 MW each
, with a total project portfolio of over 3 GW

1. Electrical Quality & Inspection
- Review electrical Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, submittals, inspection requests, and test forms.
- Inspect electrical equipment, containment systems, cabling, terminations, grounding, labeling, and overall installation workmanship.
- Verify that electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable project standards.
- Monitor electrical installation quality and identify deficiencies requiring correction.
- Witness specified electrical inspections and tests in accordance with approved ITPs and project requirements.
- Verify the use of calibrated test instruments and ensure test results are properly recorded and traceable.
- Review testing records and supporting documentation for completeness and traceability.
- Support quality readiness for electrical system energization.
- Coordinate closely with electrical construction, vendors, and commissioning teams throughout testing and energization activities.
- Identify and document quality observations and deficiencies.
- Manage electrical punch-list items and support their resolution with contractors.
- Support the issuance, tracking, and closure of electrical Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Verify that corrective actions have been properly implemented before closeout.
- Escalate significant or recurring quality issues when required.
- Verify electrical test packs and associated quality records.
- Review redlines, as-built documentation, and energization records for completeness.
- Ensure required inspection and testing documentation is properly maintained and traceable.
- Support the completion of electrical turnover documentation.
- Coordinate quality documentation requirements with construction and commissioning teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical QA/QC on major construction or EPC projects.
- Experience with MV/LV electrical systems, generators, UPS systems, grounding, testing, and energization records.
- Strong knowledge of electrical inspections, testing, quality documentation, and NCR management.
- Ability to review ITPs, inspection requests, test records, and electrical quality documentation.
- Experience working closely with electrical construction, contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams.
- Data center or mission-critical project experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
