The Onsite Quality Inspector will conduct audits to determine the quality of raw materials, bulk intermediate, and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility for the audits of production, finishing and inspection procedures to specified standards.
- Help ensure the production and timely delivery of products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Collaborate effectively with manufacturing personnel and management.
- Assist manufacturing departments with control plan and work instructions in accordance with PFMEAs, Process Flows, Control Plans and company quality management system procedures and customer requirements
- Promote quality concepts and principles throughout SSW Holding Company Inc.
- Assist with 5S and ISO audits.
- Ensure that quality reports and pertinent information are communicated daily.
Position Supervised or Directed:
- Reports to Quality Manager
Qualifications, Experience requirements:
- Degree/Diploma Obtained:
Minimum High School Diploma - 1 year of experience in quality related role. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use basic quality hand tools preferred.
General Requirements:
- Detailed and hands-on oriented.
- Availability to go to the office from Monday to Friday.
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment.
- Physical ability, which may include standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, and working in areas that are not climate controlled for long periods.
- Frequently indoors.
- Frequently exposed to fumes and loud noises.
Equipment Use:
- Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
