MANUFACTURING PLANT IN WEST PALM BEACH IS LOOKING FOR A QC SUPERVISOR. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE LAB.

MUST HAVES:

• 5+ years’ experience working in a lab environment
• 2+ Years supervisory/leading a QC lab experience
• Bachelor’s degree (Chemistry or Technical focus desired) or equivalent to relevant QC and/or laboratory certifications and experience.
• Food, chemicals, building products are all solid backgrounds

PAYS $80K-$85K SALARY + 7.5% TARGET BONUS

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Quality Control laboratories across an assigned region
, ensuring products meet established quality, safety, environmental, and ISO standards.

This position is a hands-on leadership role responsible for QC lab operations, process improvements, employee training, data analysis, and maintaining consistent and reliable testing practices across multiple manufacturing locations.

• Oversee Quality Control lab operations across assigned manufacturing locations.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO requirements, safety standards, and established QC procedures

• Implement and maintain 6S laboratory organization and efficiency standards
  .
• Serve as a hands-on working supervisor in the home-based QC laboratory when required.
• Travel to assigned facilities to provide QC support, training, and process improvement assistance
  .
• Evaluate lab processes, layouts, testing frequency, workload, training effectiveness, and departmental interactions to improve efficiency.
• Maintain and improve QC work instructions, testing procedures, and equipment calibration requirements
  .
• Ensure manufacturing and raw material specifications are current and consistently followed.
• Analyze QC data and identify trends, quality issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Quality, R&D, Process Chemistry, Engineering, and Plant Leadership to troubleshoot product quality issues.
• Lead training and development of QC employees to ensure technical competency.
• Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.
• Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, reports, and action plans
  .
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across regional QC operations.

• 5+ years of laboratory experience required.
• 2+ years of QC laboratory supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or another technical discipline preferred
  , or equivalent QC/laboratory certifications and experience.
• Strong technical chemistry knowledge; experience with cementitious chemistry, epoxy liquids, latex, or similar materials preferred
  .
• Color matching and colorimeter experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Control testing, laboratory procedures, and data analysis
  .
• Experience developing work plans and preparing technical reports.
• Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, Access, and ERP systems
  .
• Strong documentation, recordkeeping, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple labs, projects, priorities, and deadlines
  .
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to travel to provide regional QC support as needed
  .
