Job Description
We are seeking a Quality/Reliability Engineer to support vehicle production and quality improvement activities within a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality concerns related to Body Exterior systems, including trim, decals, bumpers, latches, and sealing components.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing, or Program Engineering
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Experience working in manufacturing and production environments
- Design Release Engineer (DRE) experience preferred
- Six Sigma Black Belt training/certification is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve product and process quality issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Drive quality objectives for Body Exterior systems
Preferred Experience:
- Automotive industry background
- Body Exterior components such as trim, bumpers, latches, decals, and sealing systems
