The
** QA Analyst I
** supports the quality and reliability of MBS applications used by internal teams and clients. This role develops and executes test cases, identifies and documents defects, and collaborates with technical and business teams to validate application changes and support issue resolution throughout the software development life cycle. The QA Analyst I also leverages AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and accuracy.

** How You'll Make an Impact
*** Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts based on functional requirements and system designs to validate application changes and functionality.
* Perform application testing throughout the software development life cycle, including testing of new functionality, enhancements, fixes, and releases.
* Analyze and document test results, defects, and inconsistencies, and communicate findings clearly to project teams to support timely resolution.
* Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand application functionality, investigate issues, and validate solutions.
* Assist with the investigation, testing, and resolution of escalated Tier II application support issues.
* Leverage AI-assisted tools to support test case development and execution and improve testing efficiency, coverage, and accuracy.
* Additional responsibilities as required.
** What You'll Need to Succeed
*** Knowledge of quality assurance testing principles and the software development life cycle.
* Knowledge of developing and executing test cases and scripts based on functional requirements and system designs.
* Demonstrated curiosity and ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to improve testing, productivity, and work quality.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to identify and clearly document application issues.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working effectively both independently and collaboratively.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
* Working knowledge of Windows-based systems, web applications, databases, mobile technologies, or related technology environments preferred.
* Familiarity with IBM iSeries/AS400 systems, eCommerce applications, accounting and inventory processes, PCI requirements, or college bookstore operations is a plus.
