QA​/QC Manager; Civil​/Structural; Data Center

I’m partnered with a General Contractor delivering a major greenfield hyperscale data center project in Alabama. They’re looking for a QA/QC Manager – Civil/Structural to lead site quality across the CSA package from early construction through inspections, commissioning readiness and final turnover.

• Direct Hire | Alabama onsite
• Total package up to and around $300,000
• Two return flights home per month (9 days onsite, Friday home/remote, returning Monday)
• Must have data center experience

• Lead site QA/QC delivery across civil, structural and architectural scopes
• Oversee quality across concrete, foundations, rebar, embeds, structural steel, envelope and associated architectural works
• Manage subcontractor quality, inspections, NCRs, punch lists and corrective actions
• Review QA/QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, test reports and turnover documentation
• Coordinate quality activities with the GC, trade partners, design teams, third-party inspectors and commissioning teams
• Drive contractor accountability and ensure deficiencies are closed before turnover
• Support commissioning readiness by ensuring construction quality and documentation are complete
• Lead quality meetings, site walks and inspection planning throughout the project

• Strong hyperscale or mission-critical data center experience
• Proven QA/QC leadership across civil and structural construction
• Experience with concrete, foundations, rebar, structural steel, embeds and building envelope scopes
• Strong experience managing NCRs, punch lists, inspections and subcontractor quality
• Comfortable working with owners, designers, contractors and third-party inspection teams
• Background with a GC or major construction contractor strongly preferred
• Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relevant technical background preferred
