Role
Title:
Senior NDT Inspector (Level II/III)
Role Type: Contractor
Location: Remote (US-based preferred)
We are looking for experienced Senior NDT Inspectors to support an engineering AI training project. You'll apply your expertise in non-destructive testing to interpret inspection data, evaluate weld indications, and provide accurate technical assessments. AI experience is not required.
Scope of Work- Analyze and interpret radiographic images (RT), ultrasonic scans (UT/PAUT), and MT/PT indications.
- Review inspection data for compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Evaluate weld defects and provide acceptance or disposition recommendations.
- Review thermographic images and remote visual inspection (RVI) footage when required.
- Prepare clear and technically accurate inspection reports.
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex or ambiguous indications.
- Contribute to improving inspection protocols and project guidelines.
- Active ASNT or ISO 9712 Level II/III certification in relevant NDT methods.
- 8+ years of experience interpreting RT, UT/PAUT, MT/PT, and related NDT data.
- Strong knowledge of ASME Section V, VIII, XI; API 510/570/653; API 1104; and AWS D1.1.
- Experience applying code-based weld acceptance criteria.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Thermography or RVI experience is a plus.
