? Join our growing team as a Remote Rent Collection Agent and help manage the financial heartbeat of our rental portfolio.
We are a Chicago-based property management company specializing in Section 8 and subsidized housing programs
, with a strong focus on tenant relations, housing compliance, and transparent communication with property owners. Our team is remote, collaborative, and dedicated to doing things the right way.
In this role, you’ll handle rent collection
, coordinate with CHA and similar housing programs
, assist with legal filings and evictions
, and provide regular updates to property owners regarding financial performance.
- Follow up with tenants to ensure timely rent payments
- Coordinate with CHA (Chicago Housing Authority) for inspections, rent adjustments, and compliance
- Support legal processes and collaborate with attorneys on evictions
- Set up payment plans, send notices, and manage delinquencies
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports for clients and internal teams
- Communicate with property owners regarding the health of their investments
- Experience in rent collection, customer service, or property management
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing &
CHA procedures (highly preferred) - Strong communication, problem-solving, and recordkeeping skills
- Familiarity with property management software
- Able to work independently during U.S. Central Time hours
- Legal or eviction support experience is a plus
