As a Consultant, you'll work on real estate consulting projects for a diverse set of global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client-facing responsibiliti es such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing stakeholders, facilitating workshops, formulating and making recommendation s, and helping clients implement proposed solutions.
- Serve as a key member of engagement teams across our Infrastructure & Real Estate project portfolio, such as:
- Develop real estate portfolio optimization strategies
- Design Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Facilities Management (FM), or workplace operating models, organizational structures, and service delivery models
- Deliver CRE and FM outsourcing / in sourcing consulting services, including strategy development, contract evaluation, and RFI / RFP process management
- Enhance CRE, FM, or workplace business processes and workflows across the corporate real estate life cycle (portfolio management, transaction management, design & construction, space & move management, facilities / amenities management, etc.)
- Design and implement workplace strategies, digital workplace technology / smart building / IoT strategies, and workforce mobility / "work from anywhere" programs
- Deliver CRE, FM, or workplace technology platform advisory services, including strategy development, requirements development, vendor / solution evaluation, and implementation support
- Work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and client needs
- Define deliverable structure and content, and direct on-time, quality delivery of work products
- Develop key project materials such as quantitative and qualitative analysis, presentation materials, workshop materials and project management artifacts
- Manage and prioritize tasks across multiple work streams and projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate strong problem-solvin g, critical thinking, and analytical skills, exercising sound judgment in client engagements.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development
- Support the development of "thought ware" and " point-of-view" documents and participate in public speaking events
Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team are trusted advisors to clients in managing the real estate portfolio and physical asset fleets throughout their lifecycle. We help them unlock value from their real estate portfolios and functions by developing strategies, optimizing operating models and organizational design, and leveraging technology enablement.
Qualifications required- Minimum of a bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
- 3+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm focused on corporate real estate, or serving in an internal role at a corporate real estate organization of a large owner-occupier organization
- Understanding of key corporate real estate industry trends
- Experience with real estate portfolio optimization strategies, including master planning, campus/HQ strategy, restructuring & cost optimization, implementation and planning and analytics
- Experience with corporate real estate, facilities management, workplace strategy, or workplace business processes and workflows across the corporate real estate life cycle (portfolio management, transaction management, design & construction, space & move management, facilities / amenities management, etc.)
