Texas Property Tax Consultant

Property Tax Protest is a tax consulting firm dedicated to helping Texans pay fair property taxes. Every year, we represent thousands of property owners by managing their property tax protests from start to finish in various major counties across Texas, including Bexar, Collin, Dallas, Denton, El Paso, Fort Bend, Harris, Hays, Montgomery, Rockwall, Tarrant, Travis, and Williamson. With expertise and a client-focused approach, we ensure accurate assessment and transparency in property taxation.

This is a full/part-time remote position for a Texas Property Tax Consultant at Property Tax Protest. Responsibilities include evaluating property assessments, conducting research to support property tax protest cases, preparing valuation reports, and presenting and defending cases at appraisal review board hearings. The consultant will also assist clients in understanding their property tax bills and facilitate the appeal process efficiently.

• Knowledge of Property Tax, Personal Property, and Tax processes, with experience in Texas property tax laws preferred
• Strong Analytical Skills and expertise in Property Valuation techniques
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to represent client cases in hearings
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with property assessment data and relevant software tools is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
