Role Description

The Real Estate Broker at Century 21 Dream Homes is responsible for guiding clients through the purchase, sale, and leasing of residential and investment properties. This hybrid role is based in the Greater Chicago Area, with a mix of in-person client meetings, property showings, office collaboration, and some work-from-home flexibility for administrative and marketing tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new clients, conducting market analyses, preparing comparative market evaluations, and advising clients on pricing, offers, and negotiations.

The broker manages property listings, coordinates showings and open houses, prepares and reviews contracts and disclosures, and works closely with lenders, attorneys, and inspectors to support smooth transactions. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in brokerage systems, using digital tools and CRM platforms, and staying informed about local market trends, regulations, and company standards.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in Brokerage and Real Estate, including knowledge of local market trends and transaction processes.
  • Strong Customer Service skills with a client-centric approach and the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Proven Sales abilities, including prospecting, lead follow-up, and negotiating successful outcomes.
  • Understanding of Real Property principles, contracts, and relevant regulations.
  • Active real estate broker license (Illinois) or eligibility to obtain one within required timelines.
  • Comfort using CRM systems, MLS platforms, digital marketing tools, and standard office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the Greater Chicago Area.
  • Prior experience in residential or investment real estate is preferred but motivated candidates with related sales experience are encouraged to apply.
