The client is a real estate investment and asset management operation with a portfolio that includes commercial and residential properties, executive rentals, and high‑profile short‑term rental assets. The business works closely with investors and partners and is actively involved in acquisitions, leasing, and property operations. This role is critical to keeping operations organized, moving forward, and executed at a high standard.
Aboutthe Role
We are seeking a high‑caliber, self‑driven professional to serve as a right‑hand to the executive team. This role sits at the intersection of Asset Management and Transaction Coordination. You will be responsible for assisting with tasks that follow the full life cycle of our real estate assets, from assisting in commercial due diligence and NNN reconciliations to managing high‑profile short‑term rental listings and executive scheduling.
The ideal candidate doesn’t just execute tasks but understands the reasoning behind them, ensuring that every bid sourced, document signed, and video edited aligns with our broader investment goals.
- Support lease modifications for commercial and residential properties.
- Source third‑party bids for maintenance and project work; qualify and compare 2‑3 bids per project.
- Schedule property inspections and showings; manage and pre‑screen incoming leads.
- Assist with NNN reconciliations on commercial properties and track critical deadlines.
- Communicate with investors through the CRM platform and assist with quarterly/year‑end updates.
- Support document preparation, signature collection, and organize property‑related events or tours.
- Support tax challenge work and review closing documents for real estate transactions.
- Confirm and track commission payments; ensure independent contractor agreements are finalized.
- Assist with due diligence for commercial real estate acquisitions and research local city/county codes.
- Support permit applications and manage bookings/pricing for high‑end short‑term rentals.
- Create and document SOPs for repeatable business processes.
- Manage personal and professional scheduling, reservations, and miscellaneous task follow‑ups.
- Strong drive to learn with a genuine interest in the investment side of real estate.
- High level of accountability, ownership, and analytical thinking.
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial concepts.
- Strong reasoning skills and the ability to understand broader business impacts.
- Ability to leverage AI tools thoughtfully while meticulously validating outputs.
- Experience:
Minimum three years of real estate experience required (investment side preferred). - Education:
Four‑year degree or equivalent experience in business, math, or a technical field. - Technical:
Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint. - Workstation:
Dedicated home office, Windows 11 Pro, webcam, and high‑speed internet with backup. - Communication:
Exceptional English skills;
Spanish is a plus. - Tools:
App Folio experience is strongly preferred.
