Role Description
This full-time Licensed Real Estate Agent role is a hybrid position based in Houston, TX, allowing a combination of in-office client meetings, property showings, and some work from home. The agent will prospect and cultivate leads, conduct property showings, prepare and present listing agreements, and guide clients through buying, selling, and leasing residential real estate. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research and comparative market analyses, advising clients on pricing and negotiation strategies, and coordinating inspections, appraisals, and other transaction activities.
The agent will draft, review, and submit contracts and related documentation, maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market trends and regulations, and provide consistent, high-quality customer service throughout the entire transaction lifecycle. The role also involves collaborating with brokerage leadership and team members, leveraging Coldwell Banker tools and marketing resources, and building long-term client relationships to sustain a strong book of business.
Qualifications
- Active Real Estate License in the state of Texas and demonstrated knowledge of residential Real Estate practices.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a client-focused mindset and the ability to manage relationships before, during, and after the transaction.
- Proven Sales abilities, including lead generation, pipeline management, and effective negotiation of offers and contracts.
- Understanding of Real Property concepts, local market conditions, and relevant real estate laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
- Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing multiple transactions, deadlines, and documentation with attention to detail.
- Comfort with technology, including MLS platforms, CRM systems, virtual tour tools, and standard office software.
- Prior experience in residential real estate or a related field is preferred; additional language skills are a plus.
