The Escrow Officer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Beverly Hills, CA, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role manages escrow files from opening to closing, including preparing and reviewing escrow instructions, coordinating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and title companies, and ensuring all conditions are met for timely closings. The Escrow Officer will balance multiple residential and, where applicable, luxury or commercial transactions, verify accuracy of documents, handle fund disbursements, and maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities also include delivering high-quality customer service, resolving issues, providing status updates, and contributing to a professional, service-oriented team culture that aligns with Amour Escrow’s elevated client experience.
- Strong escrow expertise with demonstrated experience managing Escrow and Closings in residential real estate transactions.
- Ability to provide exceptional Customer Service, maintaining clear communication and a client-focused mindset throughout the transaction.
- Experience in Residential Real Estate, with familiarity in reading and interpreting purchase agreements, title reports, and closing documents.
- Notary commission (active or ability to obtain) to support document signing and closing activities.
- Knowledge of relevant state and local escrow regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with escrow and real estate transaction software; ability to work comfortably with digital document systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience as an Escrow Officer or in a similar escrow/closing role; experience with luxury or high-volume transactions is a plus.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering a discreet, white-glove client experience.
