Role Description The Escrow Officer is responsible for managing residential real estate transaction files from opening through closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing closing documents, balancing escrow files, coordinating with lenders, real estate professionals, and clients, and facilitating the signing and notarization of closing packages. The role involves handling funds disbursement, resolving title and escrow issues, and providing clear, professional communication to all parties throughout the transaction.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Colorado Springs, CO, with some work-from-home flexibility while maintaining an in-office presence as needed.
Qualifications

  • Proficiency in escrow operations, including managing escrow accounts and adhering to regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Experience coordinating and conducting real estate closings, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion.
  • Current Notary commission or eligibility to obtain one, with experience overseeing the signing and notarization of closing documents.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.
  • Knowledge of residential real estate transactions, title requirements, and related industry practices.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with title and escrow software and standard office applications; comfort adapting to new systems and processes.
  • Prior experience as an Escrow Officer or in a title/closing environment preferred; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
