DESCRIPTION

OF WORK

This position supports the Real Estate Acquisitions and Dispositions Division by coordinating property transactions and reviewing important documents needed for accurate and compliant real estate actions. It involves communication with agencies, stakeholders, and partners to ensure real property matters are handled properly. As a DGS Real Estate Property Coordinator, you will perform the following duties:

  • Transaction Administration:
    Manage real estate transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, leases, easements, and related actions
  • Document Review:
    Evaluate agency requests, property records, and due diligence materials to determine next steps
  • Agreement Negotiation:
    Negotiate transaction terms with agencies, property owners, bidders, and external partners
  • Property Evaluation:
    Assess Commonwealth properties and recommend appropriate actions based on condition and need
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    Work with agencies, counsel, municipalities, utilities, and other partners to ensure accurate completion of tasks
  • Record Management:
    Maintain transaction records and upload essential documents into required tracking systems

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • This position requires travel to Harrisburg or other locations around the state to conduct site visits or attend in person meeting as required to perform job duties and meet operational needs.
  • Telework:
    You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Required Experience, Training & EligibilityQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Two years of experience performing professional real estate work including sales or lease management, and possession of an active or inactive Pennsylvania real estate license as a Salesperson (RS) or the equivalent issued by a reciprocal jurisdiction, or proof of completion of coursework required to obtain a Pennsylvania real estate license as a Salesperson (RS).
Special Requirements :
  • This position requires possession and maintenance of a valid Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
