The Lease Administrator maintains and administers lease records for an assigned portfolio of properties, abstracting lease terms, tracking critical dates, and supporting accurate billing and compliance with lease agreements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Abstract key lease terms, including rent, escalations, renewal options, and critical dates, into the lease administration system.
- Maintain accurate and organized lease files, amendments, and related documentation.
- Track and monitor critical lease dates, including renewal, termination, and option deadlines, and notify stakeholders in advance.
- Support tenant billing processes, including recurring rent, CAM, and tax charges based on lease terms.
- Respond to routine inquiries from tenants, property management, and internal teams regarding lease terms and account status.
- Assist with lease audits to verify billing accuracy and compliance with lease provisions.
- Maintain the lease administration database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Support preparation of lease abstracts, summaries, and reports for property management and accounting teams.
- Assist with document retrieval and support for audits, due diligence, or legal requests.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 1-3 years of experience in lease administration, property management, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret commercial lease documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with lease administration software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Lucernex) a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.

Pay Range$85,000 - $95,000 USD
