This is a full-time Real Estate Agent role in a hybrid work environment based in Columbia, MD, with flexibility for some work from home. The Real Estate Agent will prospect and nurture leads, meet with buyers and sellers, and advise clients on market conditions, pricing, and property preparation. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting listings, conducting property showings, writing and negotiating contracts, and guiding clients through inspections, financing, and closing.
The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local market trends, participating in training and team meetings, and using company systems and technology to manage transactions and client communication. The agent is expected to deliver high-quality customer service, adhere to ethical and legal standards, and contribute positively to the brokerage’s collaborative culture.
- Active Real Estate License and strong knowledge of Real Estate principles and practices.
- Experience in Sales and Real Property transactions, including listing, buying, and negotiating deals.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills with a client-focused, professional, and responsive approach.
- Familiarity with local market trends, property valuation, and basic contract and real estate law.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple clients and transactions.
- Comfort using real estate CRM systems, MLS platforms, and common office software tools.
- High ethical standards, reliability, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
