The Land Acquisition role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Austin, TX, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying potential land acquisition opportunities, conducting preliminary property and market research, and supporting due diligence activities such as reviewing title reports, zoning, and environmental considerations. The role involves communicating with landowners, gathering property information, and coordinating with internal team members and external partners, including title companies and closing attorneys.

The Land Acquisition professional will help evaluate deal structures, prepare basic analysis and reports, maintain accurate records in company systems, and contribute to smooth, respectful transactions aligned with the company’s values.

• Strong understanding of land-focused acquisitions and land acquisition processes
• Experience or demonstrated ability in land development concepts and evaluating development potential
• Skills in conducting due diligence, including reviewing property data, title information, and relevant regulations
• Ability to perform market research related to rural, suburban, and transitional land
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging respectfully with landowners and partners
• Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and documentation skills
• Comfort with hybrid work, including field visits around Austin, TX and remote tasks from home
• Proficiency with basic office software and online research tools; GIS or mapping tools experience is a plus
• Prior experience in real estate, land acquisition, or related fields is beneficial but not strictly required
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and uphold high ethical standards
