Biochemistry role at Emory University.
Under minimal supervision, the Assistant Academic Research Scientist performs highly technical and complex tasks to advance basic and translational research programs. Responsibilities include molecular modeling, computer-aided drug design (docking, QSAR, core replacement, pharmacophore modeling), and experience with software such as Schrödinger, Cresset, and Graph Pad. Wet lab experience in cloning, mammalian cell culture, and recombinant protein expression and purification is also preferred.
Key Responsibilities- PhD, or
- Master's degree with two years of professional experience, or
- Bachelor's degree with four years of professional experience in a related research or technical lab.
- Doctorate in Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, or related field.
- Experience in biochemistry and bioinformatics.
