PositionSummary
As a Volunteer Researcher, you will support the Observatory’s content development by ensuring accuracy, identifying new opportunities, and helping keep our articles relevant and fresh. This is a unique opportunity to apply your research skills to a mission‑driven project with global impact.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct online research to support articles in development, ensuring accuracy, credibility, and depth.
- Identify new article opportunities by analyzing reader interest and Google search trends.
- Review published Observatory articles and add reputable, up-to-date sources to strengthen and refresh existing content.
- Identify potential book publishers for partnership and syndication opportunities.
- Research and recommend potential new expert authors to join the Observatory.
- Identify and summarize useful guides and reference materials for everyday life questions relevant to our audience.
- Work with editors, writers, and other team members to support engaging, fact‑based content.
- Strong online research skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team (via Google Meet and Google Workspace).
- Previous research experience preferred.
- Passion for journalism, education, and the Observatory’s mission.
