What you will doLet’s do this. Let’s change the world.
Are you searching for a new, dynamic opportunity working with multiple teams to generate real world evidence supporting a wide variety of business needs? If so, we invite you to explore Amgen’s Center for Observational Research.
With a constantly increasing demand for information from regulatory and reimbursement agencies, observational research (OR) has become a critical component in drug development and commercialization. Amgen’s Center for Observational Research (CfOR) partners with internal and external teams to generate real world evidence for multiple stakeholders across the product lifecycle. CfOR contributes evidence regarding the frequency and distribution of disease or the clinical burden of disease, the natural history or clinical course of disease, the design of clinical trials, cost and utilization patterns and the safety and effectiveness of interventions.
In this vital role, the Observational Research Manager will be a key member of the Clinical Program Design team within CfOR’s Data and Analytic Center (DAC) and will be responsible for generating insights and building collaborations and capabilities to advance the use of real world evidence for clinical program design and planning. Preferably, CfOR Managers will be located on the Amgen corporate campus in Thousand Oaks, CA, but remote working opportunities may also be available.
