Overview
Technology Developer - Adsorption Materials and Technology at Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk. You turn advanced adsorption research into scalable, industrial solutions as part of the Adsorption Media Incubator within the Airtec division.
In this role, you apply your expertise in adsorption materials, separation technologies, shaping methodologies, and process intensification to develop next-generation material concepts. You combine strong theoretical insight with targeted experimental validation to deepen understanding of material performance, adsorption behavior, stability, and efficiency. You shape and refine new material concepts, translating fundamental principles and analytical insights into clear design and process guidelines that support product development and industrialization.
You work closely with the Incubator team, product development teams, and external research partners such as universities and research institutes. Together, you move innovations from laboratory scale towards proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and scalable solutions. You also actively scout new material and technology developments, identifying opportunities for new applications and growth areas where our in-house materials portfolio can create additional value.
You report to the Incubator team leader and work on site at our production facility in Wilrijk, Belgium, in close collaboration with global R&D and product teams.
