The Amyloidosis Research Consortium (ARC;(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) seeks an experienced research leader who brings both scientific depth and program management rigor to a Director of Research role spanning clinical endpoints, regulatory partnerships, and community research in amyloidosis.
Join an impactful nonprofit dedicated to improving and extending the lives of people affected by amyloidosis, a rare and often under diagnosed disease. Through collaboration across industry, academia, and clinical care, here at ARC, we aim to accelerate research and bring meaningful progress to patients.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Research, the Director of Research serves as the operational leader of the research team, advancing ARC’s research initiatives and collaborative programs. This role works closely with a broad network of partners to design, manage, and move forward research efforts that deepen understanding, improve treatment, and enhance patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the drug development continuum and a demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. This is a hands‑on role requiring both strategic thinking and day‑to‑day execution—someone who anticipates needs, removes barriers, and keeps work progressing. The Director will collaborate closely with partners across academia, industry, and the clinical community to ensure research efforts are coordinated, impactful, and aligned with ARC’s mission.

Full‑time and fully remote (U.S.
-based) position.
Salary range: $135,000–$145,000
, commensurate with experience.
