Job Description andPosition Requirements
The Dennis lab in the College of Medicine, Department of Cell and Biological Systems is seeking applicants for a part‑time job of Research Specialist. We are seeking an individual proficient in computational modeling of protein molecular dynamics. Candidates should be motivated, highly organized, have good communication skills, and work effectively with other laboratory members. Additional experience with cell culture and analysis of tissue specimens by western blotting and RT‑PCR is preferred.
This position will require the planning and execution of laboratory experiments, as well as the interpretation of results. Candidates will be required to troubleshoot and optimize techniques based on scientific knowledge and research experience. The position is funded for approximately 20 hours per week.
