Part-Time Lab Attendant

A part-time position is available in the Pecchia Lab in the Department of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology. The position is for 6-10 hours per week. Duties will include washing dishes, sterilizing and disposing of laboratory waste, making media, using sterile technique to grow bacteria, washing plant pots, among other tasks to support the research of the laboratory. Opportunities for advancement and training will be provided.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
