This is a part‑time, non‑benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
This position aims to support the development and validation of advanced optical imaging systems, contributing to cutting‑edge research in imaging technologies. The successful candidate will gain hands‑on experience in a multidisciplinary research environment, fostering technical and analytical skills crucial for future academic and professional pursuits.
Duties & Responsibilities- Collaborate with Dr. Bo Liang’s research team, contributing to specific tasks aligned with the overall project objectives
- Assist in the design and construction of a microscope system, working with team members to ensure functionality and accuracy.
- Perform data analysis using appropriate software tools to accurately interpret imaging data.
- Conduct validation experiments to assess the optical imaging system’s performance, and document findings to support project development
- Willing to learn new experimental methods
- Responsible for tasks
- Strong organization skills and ability to pay attention to details.
- Capable of communicating with other lab members
- Entry‑level position for undergraduate student’s background in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Biology
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
