This is a term position; length of the term will be discussed during the interview process. This Postdoctoral appointment supports an ongoing international research program on the rural invasion and control of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes and dengue virus in the Peruvian Amazon. The position combines data analysis of past and current field studies with periodic in‑country field engagement. The Postdoctoral Scholar will collaborate closely with the PI and research partners to manage field activities, analyze data, and communicate findings through peer‑reviewed publications and academic presentations.
Job ResponsibilitiesPresent research findings in internal meetings and external academic venues as appropriate. Provide guidance to field team and trainees involved in the project. Communicate regularly with internal and external collaborators to coordinate research activities, share progress, and support joint publications.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in entomology, biology, public health, epidemiology, or other relevant fields and be able to provide evidence that all requirements have been met for completion of the Ph.D. prior to the effective date of hire.
