Social Sciences PhD Expert

Part-time, project-based (10–20 hours/week)

• Create and refine historically accurate prompts and ideal responses across diverse time periods and geographies
• Evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs for factual accuracy, depth, and clarity
• Develop content aligned with different system personas (e.g., academic expert, generalist learner)
• Generate prompt variants to test instruction-following, tone, and persona-based responses
• Identify and design tasks that expose limitations in state-of-the-art AI models
• Contribute to long-term supervised fine-tuning dataset development initiatives

• PhD in History or a closely related social science discipline
• Specialized expertise in a defined historical era, region, or methodology
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• Experience in academic writing, curriculum design, or public history is preferred
• Ability to work independently and iteratively with minimal oversight
