Computational Physicist | Remote

Responsibilities

• Contribute deep domain expertise in specialized physics subfields to provide insights for AI training initiatives.
• Formulate, solve, and document advanced mathematical physics problems using rigorous methodologies.
• Develop and validate computational models, simulations, and analytical solutions using Python, Sym Py, and Jupyter environments.
• Produce high‑quality, publication‑level written explanations and derivations with clear, structured reasoning.
• Communicate complex concepts and solutions clearly through written and verbal exchanges with project coordinators and the technical AI team.
• Work independently to navigate and resolve challenging research problems aligned with the assigned subfield.

• Have a PhD or be a senior PhD student in physics with active research in targeted subfields such as High Energy Physics, Biophysics, or Quantum Information.
• Have 2 5 representative publications in the relevant subfield from the last, with available arXiv/DOI links.
• Possess expertise in mathematical modeling, derivations, and system proofs at a publication‑worthy standard.
• Be proficient in LaTeX, Python, Sym Py, and Jupyter, and should flag any skill gaps.
• Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain intricate concepts clearly.
• Have a demonstrated ability to work independently and execute research tasks with minimal supervision.
