Location:
Syracuse University campus. This position requires regular in-person presence to support students, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the research environment. Remote work arrangements are limited.
Pay Range: $20.60 – $24.52 per hour.

Standard University business hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (academic year), 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (summer). Hours may vary based on operational needs.
We are looking to hire a full‑time Lab Supervisor who will work alongside other research staff on federally funded psychology research projects in the Psychology and Health Lab (Principal Investigator: Dr. Sarah Woolf‑King) and the Addiction, Development and Equity Lab (Principal Investigator: Dr. Aesoon Park). This role offers competitive research experience for those seeking to apply to graduate programs or pursue careers in research project management and administration.
Responsibilities- Oversee participant recruitment, screening, scheduling, and assessments in collaboration with research staff and graduate students.
- Carry out research within the scope of the established study protocol.
- Implement, adhere to, and manage human subject regulations defined by SU and the federal government for studies under faculty supervision.
- Assist faculty supervisors with IRB (approvals, amendments, renewals) and NIH (progress reports, DSMB, data sharing) documents.
- Coordinate weekly project meetings, draft and maintain meeting minutes and project to‑do list, and manage lab member scheduling and execution of weekly tasks.
- Maintain data collection platform (e.g., Redcap) and database (e.g., SPSS or R), clean data, and conduct basic descriptive analyses to ensure data quality.
- Handle administrative tasks associated with an undergraduate summer research program.
- Experience with management and execution of federally funded human subjects behavioral, health‑related, or psychological research studies is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, health, social, or behavioral sciences, along with prior experience and interest in managing and/or conducting social science and health research.
- Strong organizational, management, and attention‑to‑detail skills, as well as strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
