The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a candidate to conduct research on metallurgical processes related to continental crust melting. Responsibilities include preparing samples for geochemical analysis, optical microscopy, and characterization using e-beam techniques. The skilled candidate will also write scientific papers and construct numerical models of chemical processes.
The role is collaborative, joining the Metamorphic Petrology research group under the direction of Dr. Andy Smye. Note that remote work approvals are not guaranteed regardless of location.
