Research Study Coordinator 1 – Occupational Sleep Medicine
Location: Spokane, WA (remote work possible upon supervisor approval).
Employment Type: Full‑time, 100% FTE, permanent.
Salary: $3,581 to $4,771 per month (salary steps A‑M). Overtime eligible.
The Research Coordinator conducts scientific research in sleep and performance, with a primary focus on data collection—coordinating participants and processing data. The role also involves diverse tasks requiring flexibility, organizational skill, and professionalism.
Essential Job Functions (percent of time)- Research: 75%
- Research Coordination: 20%
- Other: 5%
- Two years of college‑level coursework in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Assistant (or equivalent education/experience).
- Excellent organizational and project‑management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive completion of duties and responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience working with scientific or clinical research protocols.
- Experimental and analytical skills.
- Experience using statistics in a research setting.
- Experience in sleep, performance, or psychology research.
