Summary
The Moore Lab studies Forebrain dynamics and their role in information processing, with a focus on attention and perception. A key focus of the laboratory is the hypothesis that vascular dynamics are key to behavior in real time, a prediction currently being tested.
Position OverviewThe main goal of the position is to support investigations of vascular dynamics during behavior, and the determination of the vascular components and neural partners that may support processes like attention and perception. Primarily, investigations will pertain to behavioral testing, rapid brain imaging with bioluminescent or fluorescent indicators, and anatomical studies. This individual will work closely to support the research of more senior lab members (graduate students, postdoctoral associates and the Principal Investigator).
This is a fixed term position with a current end date one year from the date of hire, which may be extended based upon funding availability.
