Research and Project Manager
The Military Health and Readiness Consortium (MiHRC) within the Institute of Arctic Biology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is seeking a full-time Research and Project Manager to oversee the coordination and execution of research activities focused on suicide prevention within the defense community.
Responsibilities- Coordinate research efforts among collaborators.
- Contribute to study design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of scientific manuscripts.
- Prepare and track human subjects protection approvals and ensure compliance with human subject protection authorities.
- Manage research data and safeguarding procedures.
- Assist with recruitment and enrollment of research participants.
- Coordinate large‑scale data collection activities.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Organize partner meetings and project logistics.
- Maintain communication with project stakeholders.
- Support outreach efforts to increase awareness of MiHRC activities across Alaska and the University of Alaska system.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of post‑graduate research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project milestones within a collaborative research environment.
- Experience working with military or first responder communities and conducting health‑related research is highly desirable.
- Location:
