Mercor is recruiting accomplished physics researchers to work with partner labs on the next generation of AI systems focused on scientific reasoning. This position offers W-2 employment through Cincinnatus LLC, requiring a part-time commitment of 4 to 16 hours per week.
Successful candidates will engage in authoring physics problems for AI model training, evaluating model outputs, and identifying gaps in current research models. Ideal applicants include outstanding senior PhD students and recent graduates with strong publication records.
