Join Our Category Management Team At Royal Canin

Become part of our category management team at Royal Canin! In cooperation with our retail partners, we aim to sustainably grow the entire category of premium cat and dog food. You will lead based on buyer data and global trends to provide actionable recommendations for the optimal design of product assortments, envision the future of the category with the "Category Vision," and design concepts for emotional point of sale presentation.

• Independently conduct competitive and market analyses based on retail and household panel data, scanner data, and shopper studies
• Derive potentials and strategic recommendations for the pet food category (cat/dog)
• Create and support the updating of reports and evaluations
• Contribute to market research on shopper behavior
• Conduct store checks including evaluation of results
• Create customer-specific shelf planograms and placement solutions, and recommendations for an emotional point of sale implementation
• Collaborate across departments with (trade) marketing and sales to understand adjacent functions and gain a broad company perspective

• An advanced economic degree
• Ideally, initial practical experience in marketing/sales/category management
• The ambition to take responsibility from the start
• The ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Self-motivation, flexibility, and enthusiasm
• Communication talent in German and English
• Very good MS Office skills
• Experience with Nielsen Answers and planogram software is advantageous
