JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSThe Department of Plant Science Applied Weed Physiology Lab in the College of Agricultural Sciences invites applications for a Part‑Time Student Technical Assistant. This recruitment is to fill one part‑time position (approximately 20 hours per week during academic terms and a maximum of 40 hours per week during academic breaks).
RESPONSIBILITIES- Cleaning seed lots
- Measuring plant biomass
- Collecting and entering data
- Performing routine and semi‑skilled technical tasks in the greenhouse, laboratory, and field to support research
- Developing own research projects based on initial performance (possibility)
- Undergraduate student
- Punctual, responsible, talented, motivated, and a team worker
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing assigned tasks
