JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Plant Science Applied Weed Physiology Lab in the College of Agricultural Sciences invites applications for a Part‑Time Student Technical Assistant. This recruitment is to fill one part‑time position (approximately 20 hours per week during academic terms and a maximum of 40 hours per week during academic breaks).

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cleaning seed lots
  • Measuring plant biomass
  • Collecting and entering data
  • Performing routine and semi‑skilled technical tasks in the greenhouse, laboratory, and field to support research
  • Developing own research projects based on initial performance (possibility)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Undergraduate student
  • Punctual, responsible, talented, motivated, and a team worker
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing assigned tasks
