Research Assistant/Associate, Clinical Research
The Perini Family Survivors’ Center at Dana‑Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a full‑time Research Assistant II to join the team. This hybrid role combines on‑site and remote work and supports research on psychosocial and physical health outcomes for adult and childhood cancer survivors, including online interventions for anxiety, insomnia, and sexual health, and survey‑based studies of mental and physical health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Recruit, screen, enroll, and interview participants, including telephone interviews and online surveys.
- Develop online survey and study materials, support live telehealth interventions, mailings, data entry, and database management.
- Assist with literature reviews, abstract medical records, and perform basic statistical analyses.
- Coordinate project activities at internal and external study sites, schedule meetings, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of study materials and data.
- Coordinate pilot testing of studies and surveys and assist with IRB submissions and requirements.
- Support investigators with data analysis, manuscript preparation, study reports, and protocol development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
- Computer skills:
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with SPSS preferred. - Ability to work independently, including evenings and some weekends.
- Bilingual language skills may be required, depending on study population.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
- At least 2 years of research experience in psychology, health, public health, or education (preferred).
- Experience in recruitment, data entry, database management, and basic data analysis.

Pay range: $42,500.00 – $51,100.00
