This is a term position; length of term will be discussed during the interview process. Continuation past the term length discussed will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.
POSITION SPECIFICSThe Department of Mathematics in Penn State’s Eberly College of Science invites applications for Postdoctoral Scholars through the Anatole Katok Center for Dynamical Systems and Geometry. Successful candidates will engage in research in all or any of the areas of Dynamical Systems and Geometry.
Appointed candidates will collaborate closely with Anatole Katok Center for Dynamical Systems and Geometry faculty on cutting‑edge research projects. The position comes with an annual 2‑1 teaching load.
Education and Experience:
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in mathematics by the start date of employment. Strong expertise in one or more of the fields of Dynamical Systems and Geometry is essential.
