Overview
The research group led by Dr. You Leo Li at The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking postdoctoral scholars. The group focuses on the intersection of AI and medical ultrasound imaging to develop AI‑based quantitative imaging of human hemodynamics and neural network models of nonlinear ultrasound for imaging and quantitative tissue property estimation.
Position DetailsThis is a grant‑funded position that is renewable pending funding availability and satisfactory performance. A remote work schedule is not available.
Minimum Education and Experience- Ph.D. in a related field.
Education and Experience
- Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering or a related field.
- Experience in ultrasound or optical imaging and AI research.
Applicants must be able to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Develop novel algorithms for ultrasound simulation, imaging, and quantitative analysis.
- Customize machine learning/deep learning methods for image reconstruction.
- Conduct human studies of the algorithms and techniques in collaboration with other group members and clinical researchers at UTSW.
