The University of Alabama is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Civic Science for a two-year appointment starting August 2026. The fellow will lead a civic science project funded by the Rita Allen Foundation, working closely with researchers from the University of Alabama and the University of Utah.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing research, creating a substantial civic science work product, and investigating pathways of professionalization in science communication. An ideal candidate holds a related Ph.D. and has experience in public engagement.
