Public Health Research Scientist; Atlanta, Georgia REMOTE

PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCH SCIENTIST ICF is seeking a well‑organized and detail‑oriented candidate with public health research and evaluation experience to support federal public health evaluation projects. This role will work remotely in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

• Conduct evaluations of federal initiatives.
• Develop evaluation plans, logic models, evaluation questions, data collection and analysis plans, and evaluation reports.
• Contribute to the development of reports, manuscripts, briefing materials, and other related documentation.

• Master’s Degree in public health, public administration, health policy, data analytics, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in research, program evaluation, data collection, or data analysis within public‑sector, healthcare, or grant‑funded environments.
• Experience with public health program evaluation, including development of evaluation plans, logic models, data collection and analysis plans, and reports.
• Experience with government‑funded national program evaluations.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows, including advanced use of Excel.
• Position requires a HHS background check and a government security investigation for clearance prior to start date.

• Professional or educational experience in diabetes or other chronic disease prevention.
• Experience using a statistical package such as R, Stata, or SAS.
• Experience using qualitative analysis software such as MAXQDA or ATLAS.ti.
• Experience with the CDC or other federal health agencies.

• Proactive and problem‑solving approach to challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a large team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills and knowledge.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, and work under strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

The pay range for this position based on full‑time employment is: $61,232.00 – $ (Georgia Remote Office – GA99).
