Job Overview

Job duties and responsibilitiesManage Sinha lab equipment, perform experiments, publish scientific manuscripts, patents, collaborate with other trainees and postdocs in the MatSE department.
- Perform experiments on developing and characterizing peptidic and polypeptide‑derived biomaterials in the Sinha lab.
- Manage peptide synthesis and purification lab and related equipment.
- Train, mentor and collaborate with Sinha group members as well as other postdoc, graduate and undergraduate students in the department.
- Publish patents and scientific papers.
Must have a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering.
Should have experience in peptide synthesis, purification, assembly, characterization techniques such as Cryo‑TEM, small‑angle scattering and spectroscopy.
