Research Scientist, Research Assistant/Associate, Biotech Research
The International Arctic Research Center (IARC) invites applications for its temporary faculty pool. Applicants should hold a Master’s, Ph.D., or equivalent in a relevant field of science and have the expertise, skills, and abilities to collaborate effectively with IARC faculty and researchers. Candidates must demonstrate experience that enables meaningful contributions to designated projects and programs.
A strong foundation in research methodologies, proficiency with research software, and well-developed analytical skills are essential for successfully conducting and supporting proposed research activities.
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, a deep commitment to their research area, and the ability to foster a collaborative and intellectually engaging environment that supports effective teamwork and knowledge exchange.
Minimum QualificationsMaster’s or Ph.D. education in a relevant discipline or fields of science.
Position DetailsThis position is located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus in Fairbanks. The job posting is a pooled position, meaning it remains open over the academic year and applicants are reviewed on an as‑needed basis by IARC. Positions can be part time or full time.
