Office of Research-Temporary Faculty ( Non-Credit

Overview

This is a pool from which the Office of Research, to include the College of Engineering (CoEng), College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP), Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER), Community Technical College (CTC), Business Enterprise Institute (BEI), and the School of Education (SoEd) will draw upon when Temporary Faculty Non-Credit Researchers are needed to work on sponsored projects. Non-Credit Adjunct research positions are externally funded.

The duration of employment is dependent on the duration of the research project(s).

• Perform a broad range of research activities in support of the department's academic, scientific, and strategic objectives and externally sponsored projects.
• Assist in the design and implementation of research methodologies; collect, manage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data; maintain accurate research records; and prepare technical reports, presentations, manuscripts, and other scholarly materials.
• Help ensure that research activities are conducted in accordance with applicable institutional policies, sponsor requirements, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support grant‑funded and departmental research by coordinating project activities, maintaining research resources, monitoring project timelines, and contributing to the successful completion of project objectives and deliverables.
• Participate in meetings, provide subject‑matter expertise within assigned areas, support interdisciplinary collaborations, and perform other research‑related duties as assigned.

Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, previous research, and ability to perform the research needed as well as their ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

A minimum of five years research experience in a relevant area.

This is a Temporary position and salary will be determined by prior experience.

This position is a pooled role; applications are reviewed as needed and submission of an application does not guarantee a job offer.
